Thawed Cape

Submitted by Sam on 3/30/05 at 5:34 PM. ( sam22bennett@hotmail.com ) 207.177.14.30

Hey Everybody! I just got a green coyote cape in the mail that was supposed to be frozen when I got it but it wasn't. It stinks kinda bad but the hair still seems solid. I just put it back in the freezer, but am wondering how to rethaw it and hopefully keep it from slipping and to eliminate some of the stink. Any help here would be appreciated. I have learned my lesson and will insist on overnight UPS/FedEx from now on. I guess some people just don't realize how unreliable the USPS can be sometimes. Thanks in advance, Sam

but not the Krowtann. I've never used it but I hear too much bad stuff. Turn everything but there isn't alot to flesh, coyotes are pretty thin skinned. Thin around the face and any thick areas but watch the under belly, real thin. Then carry on.

Krowtann is a very good tan and very simple to use just follow the instructions. gives a very good stretch and will set the hair very nicely.
this is all i use in my shop.

thaw somewhere cold, maybe in the fridge, or outside but not inside where it is warm. It was thawed once and you dont know what shape it is now in.
