I know that water encourages bacteria growth, so how would you go about storing a beaver or muskrats in the freezer. Do you dry them as much as possible, bag and seal them or just freeze them wet.
Also could they be put in the freezer wet just long enough to bring down the body temperature, taken back out to be dried with an air compressor or shop vac and then placed back in the freezer to complete the freezing process.
I'd really like to try a full body beaver mount, but how do you deal with an animal that is so wet?
