I had a guy call today with a bear his daughter shot and he wants the skull cleand it is still all attached from the neck up it has been in the freezer for 3 years and i was wondering if the hide would still be any good for mounting.

It's hard to say. You can try it but before you go ahead with the project if you so choose. Let the client know what problems may lie ahead, like slippage. Now I would also have a bottle of stop-rot on my hands. As soon as you take it in or start to thaw it out, brush this product on the head and any areas you may like. It will help with freezer burn and may help stop with some slippage.
I just did a domestic rabbit that sat out awhile and had a green belly with some slippage starting. I brushed on stop-rot as I worked on it. I brushed it on the hair side and flesh side. Plus the whole bunny got a brushing.
From the skinning I went right into a pickle of a Ph of 1.5 for three days, drained it, removed all the membrain placed back in for another day, neturlized it, tanned it and made a beautiful soft tanned rug for the lady. As for any slippage: NONE.
It's a great product to have.
