I feel for you those merinos smell about as bad as a coyote. We hunt them in Texas and you can smell them coming before you see them. I told the guys that hunt with me if they kill one and want a shoulder mount they will need to bring it to someone else to have it mounted, not just the smell but they are usually very dirty and thier wool is full of all kind of junk.
Did you do the hide yourself or did you send it off? If you sent it off who did you use?
