I would like to get rid of some chipmunks in yard, what is the best way or what can I use for bait in a mouse trap to get them?

That what mine likes or shelled peanuts that I put out to feed the birds.
I don't know where you live, but in Idaho trapping chipmunks is illegal. Maybe it's okay in your state though.
get a rat trap which is a huge mouse trap and bait it with peanut butter and maybe a few sunflower seeds if they are handy. Also they sell strichnine covered milo for situations such as this also, however you can do what the kids around here do and fill a milk jug full of water and start pouring it down his hole and when he pops out of the milk jug he pops into the milk jug and you got him alive. But this is prolly illegal so i would be careful. Heck it is prolly illegal to talk about it, or to even wonder if it is illegal or not.
