bear eyes

i am using a buckeye competition bear head, calls for a 14 mm eye, when using the white banded 125 eyes do you go one size smaller? they are so large, have trouble setting them , thank you for any help

I am not sure how others do it it,but I usually do go one size smaller.If you measure the iris in those eyes,the iris usually is bigger than 14 and I have trouble getting much white to show.

I seldom go bigger than a 12 mm IQ on mine
