What is the best way to stop hair slippage? I was mounting a squirrel when the hair began to slip what is my best option?

Remember, once a hide has slipped, nothing can stop the damage that's already been done. NOTHING. You may be able to salvage what's left with Stop Rot, but another squirrel would be your best option.

Maybe

Barry, Maybe its the way you are handling it. I try not to use my fingers on the skin when mounting. I use two apostery pins to taxi the skin around. Haven't had that problem again. Also, if you use stop-rot after skining it will help.
