Black Bear Thread

What is the preferred type of thread for sewing up black bear skins on half or full body forms? I have used the thick wax coated thread in the past with OK results. I now use 30 lb. test Black Fireline on my deer mounts which works great. Anyone use the Fireline on Black Bear?
