I need a state by state listing of the laws regarding selling bear skins across state lines. Where do I find them? I've been going state by state, but it's taking forever...Thanks

State regulations are too much to the whims of politicians, bureaucrats, biologists, and hunters for anyone to attempt a data base as you'd like. Too many changes each year to stay current as well.
....To you, is the one you live in. Any bear that you might sell is being sold in your state, even if the purchaser is in another state. The only way that the sale would be illegal is if POSESSION is illegal in the purchaser's state. Lacey Act(federal) applies to illegally taken or posessed items that cross state lines.
My information came to me from a Florida lawyer who bought a bear rug from me a number of years ago. I told him that I didn't think that he could legally buy the rug. He researched it and and sent me a check and copies of the laws and a statement from his local game warden, stating that it was legal for him to purchase and posess the rug. But he couldn't sell it.
If posession were illegal, a hunter could not go to a state where it is legal, kill a bear and take it home with him. Just make sure that you are living in a state where it is legal to sell the bear, if you are planning on selling a bear.
