what is the best way? Tannery degreeser, dawn dish soap, Coleman fuel? How long should I leave in? Thanks

You can use a lot ofdifferent degreasers, (not solvents ie. coleman fuel gas etc.) Wash with dawn rinse well and tan. Epo-Grip degreaser is a fine product to use as well. Need to judge how greasy your animal is and go accordingly.
Y,I use mineral spirits for my degreasing,its much cheaper than the degreasers in the supply catalogs and it works great for pulling the grease out.
I usually let it set on the skin from half hour to an hour.
