Not enough time to finish mount?

I posted a few weeks ago about purchasing a bobcat form, well I got the form and started to mount it tonight. Needless to say 12:00am came around awful quick and I was only just starting to tuck the eyes. I had to stop because I have to go to my real job in the morning. I put the mount in the freezer hoping that it would stall the drying of the critter clay and hide paste. Am I up the creek without a paddle or will this work and allow me to thaw the cat and pick up where I left off? Oh, I'm planning to pull it out tommorrow evening.

Thanks!

you should be ok - you can always rehydrate the clay if need

the fridge would be better for just overnight. Just make sure you bag it so no air gets in...it should be exactly as you left it the next evening.

You don't need put it in the freeze. You can wet some towels and wrap them around the animal. Pin them in position. Then wrap the whole thing in a plastic bag. This will keep the moisture in for a couple of days. I would check it each day and re-wet the towels if needed. You also need to look out for mildew and mold. When I have to do this more then 2 days, I remove the towels, rinse them clean and then re-wet and apply. Had an african animal that I had bagged like this for a week and worked on.

Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions! I'm always misjudging my time and how long it will take me to mount something!
