bear flakes

i have a bear that was tanned by modern fur, they did a great job, mounted it up lifesize, these like white flakes and smaller particals keep comming out of the fur, i blow it off with air and it's like no end ! guess it is from there fur drum, any one else have that problem?

Dandruff! I like to use head and shoulders, but you can try selson blue if you think that would work better.

I have seen what you are talking about several times. Its like dandruff. Epidermis is flaking off. What I do is brush the hair very vigorously with a wire dog brush, then with compressed air 100psi +, I blow out the hair. You will probably never get out all the flakes but this should take care of most. A good mist of lacquer thinner will help during the brushing.
