I would like to do a few projects with adult mammals and their offspring. My question is...how big does a opposum and a beaver need to be to bear young? I have a 14" n-t possum and the same for the beaver. Is this an acceptable size to portray as an adult of offspring?
Thanks for your replies!

14" from the tip of the nose to the end of the tail is small and I would consider it to be an offspring. If the 14" is to the base of the tail, with the opossum I would consider it a small adult, but the beaver would still be consider an offspring in my opinion.
