They were slipping a little (if the fur was gently pulled on you would get 5 or6 strands of hair in you fingers ) I froze the pups now id like to mount them what is the best way to thaw them ? I do have a presher tanner can I put them in alumim salfate and salt and let them thaw ? then skin them or is there a better way ? I would really like to try and save these animals Thanks Dale

Slipping or not

If you are only getting 5 or 6 strands when you pull on it, then maybe the hair isn't slipping, but just shedding. You'll know when you have a case of real slip when you get some fur between your fingers and pull gently, and a whole clump of fur falls off the hide.
