Question For George

George, I'm getting ready to start a L/S porcupine,(gotta hand wrap a body to get the pose the customer wants),But, my question is this...I was going to try Krow tan on the hide and oil it,and was wondering if you ever used it in the same aplication. If so,How did it work, and any pit falls i should watch for besides the thin skin, and extra attention to de-greaseing? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance . Ed babneau

I'm not a Krotann fan.

Porcupines are greasy critters and after fleshing, I always degrease them several times. One; to get the grease off, and two; to get the smell of crap out of their quills.

Thanks George
