I was wondering how long you can keep a bobcat in the freezer before either skinning it or sending it out to mount?

if it is wrapped up tightly in several plastic bags with all the air squeezed out it can stay in the freezer for about a year to two the most. I personally would not keep it in the freezer longer then a year due to freezerburn of ears and nose and lips. But even then if the freezer burn is not too bad it can still be mounted up. I had a customer bring me two cats he had had in his freezer for two years. They had some freezer burn but nothing bad enough to prevent mounting. They turned out nice.
