I have biology project coming up and i decided to reconstruct a skeleton of a skunk but i have no idea how i would get the sac out without getting cover with it's smell anyone have any info?

They have several creative ways suggested in our archives. When you click it, type in "skinning a skunk". For someone without much experience, I might suggest the one about doing it underwater, but you still better wear rubber gloves. That oil will stink regardless.
I've had a skunk double bagged and frozen in my freezer for about 6 months now. I've read all the archives and still just can't muster up the balls to sink a knife in the thing. Maybe one day, I will feel up to the task.
do it outside on a very windy day, wear rubber gloves that you plan to throw away, stand on the upwind side when skinning.
Without question, I've found that the very best way to skin a skunk is . . .
to get someone else to do it!
