Ignorant Antis

Fur is Dead, for someone who pretends to know what an animal "suffers" in a trap, you are very ignorant of what trapping actually is. First of all, steel traps do not have teeth. That stupid statement alone disqualifies you from discussing this subject. You are an idiot who hasn't researched the subject at all. The only state in the USA that allows "teeth" on traps is Alaska, and those teeth are not designed, nor do they, bite into an animal's leg. They are designed to prevent side to side movement of the foot, therefore REDUCING the possibility of an injury. I have snapped dozens of traps on my own fingers. The larger traps smart a little, but not much. I've caught the occasional feral cat, and released them with no injury. Trappers go to extremes to prevent injury to an animal in a trap. We use multiple swivels on trap chains to prevent chains from kinking and injuring animals. The goal is to hold an animal uninjured until we get there. Most trappers do all kinds of modifications to their traps to prevent injury, from laminating, to offsetting, to using rubber pads on the jaws. For foothold traps on land, every state except Alaska requires a 24 hour trap check. Contrary to what you idiot antis claim, animals are not left for days and weeks in traps. You made the stupid statement about traps catching and holding animals by the face while the animals suffer. Yet another idiotic statement among many. Perhaps you are talking about the bodygrip traps. If you knew anything, you'd know those are designed for an instant kill. They don't snap on the face, they snap on the neck behind the ears. Please, do me a favor. Before posting anymore stupid things, do a little research. Your ignorance and utter stupidity are typical of your kind.

They dont know and are to stupid to understand that DAMAGE to FYRS cost trapper money.

Now with that in mind why would we do any additional damage to the fur?

Red and Gray fox don't bring a lot on the fur market, so I mount the ones I trap, less damage means more money.

It also takes time to repair the damage done, that is more labor which is MORE MONEY. Why do damage to make additional labor, I don't like to repair the damage and it cost me more time which is more money.

Animals dont suffer in a trap. Many small one I release from leg hold traps. Small animals are not worth as much MONEY.

Antis do you know a simple quilt placed over the animal normally calms it down and alows me to release it without damage or harm to the animal.

I have even released hog nosed skunks that way without damage to ME.

What you antis do not know or understand is we hunters, trappers and taxidermist care more for the animals than you do!

Yea you big dumbies of the inner city, we do everything we can to produce better specimens, improve the product, same for deer hunters.

Yep many hunters true hunters are putting out mineral licks for deer and maintain them the year round, what do quality deer licks do?

Provide minerals to big bigger animals of course, bigger animals mean bigger racks, more meat ah, yes more meat per deer, far better than the rancid beef you eat at your fancy French eatery!

Many true hunters of the eastern whitetail put out year round food plots, some ven fertilize the woods to produce better mast crops in their area.

So what have you antis done except bitch and harm the whole fauna, what have you done to improve the numbers and qualty of life?

Dare I say NOTHING!

Buck, we need to talk

About those feral cats...uh....you know the best place to release them would be out around the Atlantic Shelf someplace. Or maybe on a sporting clay range.
