Hi again,
Got a question on black bear 1/2 mount. would it be smarter and is it possible to sew up the chest seam and arms before mounting, then pull cape over form. can you get a better seam this way? how do you all do it?
Thanks again for all the help.

I don't think you will be able to sew everything up, and then pull over the form, unless you cut the head off, put it in first, then pull the rest over. Put some slow set bondo on the surface where you cut the form before pulling over, and adjust and hold in place until the bondo sets up. You could also try cutting the arms off and do the same thing as above.
pre-sew the chest and the arms up to the elbow if they're split all the way then make a dorsal cut on the bear. Slip it on; do the face, sew up arms rest of way then sew up the back of the bear just like a deer cape. Way easier than cutting up the form.
with Mark H, that's how I do it.
