I was wondering if anyone has seen the new product out this year by Hunters Specialties called Wild Gamekeeper Spray. It is a powder you add water to and it is supposed to inhibit bacteria growth and spoilage. It immediately lowers the ph on the surface of the animal creating an acid base which inhibits bacteria growth and deters mold spores from attaching to the animal. It is supposed to kill E-coli(99.6%), Salmonella (99.9%), and Listeria monocytogenes (99.9%). what I was wondering is.. Would this help the hide from slippage or is it applied just to protect the edible meat on the animal. The ingredients of the powder are not listed on the packaging.
