Coyote Skinning... Case or Dorsal

Submitted by Rich on 10/9/05 at 6:11 PM. ( ) 69.209.120.186

Going to skin my first coyote and was thinking of doing a case incision. However, after reading the archives, it seems like a toss up with the dorsal. What are your preferences? The animal will either be mounting howling or in a leaping pose after a pheasant. Any pros, cons, and opinions are appreciated. Thanks... RICH

definetly dorsal skin, easy to hide the incision on a heavy furred animal such as a coyote.

if you want.....

to drive yourself absolutely crazy try to get e'thing in the cased skin and then....... you'll finally give up and cut it dorsally anyway
