Sorry... Couple more coyote questions!

Do you all slit right through the footpad and up to the hock (back) and up to the carpal pad in the front? Do you make the slit right through the carpal pad? Do you just keep sliting the tail on top from your dorsal incision to the tip of the tail. And lastly, do you turn the ears like you would on a whitetail? The skinning is going good so far. here's what i do

i cut relief cuts in all 4 feet but not thru main pad on foot - dorsal cut is made from base of neck to 4" from base of tail - if i can make it shorter i will - most forms have to be cut in half to get them into skin anyway - split about 4" on bottom of tail and then use a tail stripper or vise grips and put on tail skin and tail will come out in one piece - ears are turned the same but you will need to do it with a knife (not turners) - it is much easier to turn ears on some kind of beam up inside ear
