Prices for whole frozen specimens

I have a trapper that is willing to supply me with whole frozen specimens whenever i need them. MY question is what are the going prices for these animals:

Beaver: Extra large adults and kit juveniles
Fisher: Large adults males and females
Skunk: Large adult with heavy coat

He has a bunch that he is waiting on me to take from him but i'm not sure what price is fair for them. Specimens i don't take he will skin and send to fur auction, so when he gets them i have kind of a limited time to make a decision on them. Any ideas on pricing would be appreciated.

Thanks

Angelo

It might be worth your while to get a recent Fur Fish and Game magazine. They have fur market reports that are updated monthly and should put you in the ballpark.Occasionally, however, an unusually colored animal will be worthless on the fur market but worth something to taxidermists.

Thanks for the advice

Thanks for the help. I guess i will get one of those and see what the going rates are. I usually do piece work and replacement jobs, not really commercial business like most of you guys on here. Since i'm usually pressed to meet deadlines, i normally purchase tanned specimens to match those i am replacing etc, or to add to dioramas, i rarely get a chance to work on whole animals and i'm not that familiar with the pricing.
George, if you read this, just let me know what you think a fair price is for a kit beaver. I found most of the current fur prices i was looking for but no listings for such a young speciment. As you seem to be the guru here on these forums i figure you could make a pretty accurate guess.

Thanks all,

Angelo
