I want to use an artificial nose on the bobcat I'm working on, since the real nose is damaged. It will be my first shot using an artificial nose. The actual nose size is the same as a large bobcat nose, but the form I have was designed for a medium nose. Should I make the form accept the large nose, or fit the skin around the smaller one?

Kind of a peter pay paul thing. either will work. I personaly would file the large one down, and sand to provide a smooth union.
