I'm hoping to cross-section a mammal skull for display (adult harbor seal, about a 200-pound animal; the bone is dense and up to about 1" think). We've got a bone saw, but the pathologist here thinks that the cut will be too irregular to make a nice presentational specimen. I also have a Dremel tool and am considering trying that out.
Very grateful for any advice.

Bandsaw will cut right through with a nice even cut..TR
sawzall?
Definitely with a 12" wood cutting blade. It can then be filed smooth.
