belly or dorsil cut-black bear-

would like some opinions on a 490 pound dressed weight black bear.customer wants full mount, standing , one paw raised. should i sew up the belly where it was field dressed and use dorsil cut or split legs to meet exsisting cut.thank you in advance--- Rollie

Dorsal cut

I had to do one just like that a while ago and I sewed up the belly and cut it down the back it was alot easier getting the hide on. Kinda like putting a jump suit on. With a belly cut it's hard to get the leg skin on. The extra sewing is a pain . Mine was also cut down all the legs so I had to do alot of extra sewing.
