Skinning Bobcat for Lifesize

What is the best way to skin a bobcat for a lifesize mount. I would like to mount it swatting at a running snowshoe hare. Do I split the tail or not. I am planning on skinning it with a dorsal cut. Just wasn't sure if it is was the best way.

split the tail. Go from the base of th tail to the center of the shoulders.

You are going to want to split the tail to make sure it gets salted properly. Split the tail from the bottom side, easy to hide the seam.
