raccoon tails

we have recently been trapping raccoons and we are having trouble skinning out the tails. do you have any advice on how we should skin it out?

Poor mans Method

If you don't have time to wait on the skinners....Get you two dowels about 1/4" thick. Have someone hold on to the coon at the base of the tail. Place one of the dowels on the top and cross the other one on the bottom. While the other person is holding the racoon (TIGHTLY) QUICKLY slide the dowels down the tail. Presto, You now have a skinned tail. Racoons, and foxes are very greasy so you might have the person holding the coon where some gripper gloves.
Or you could always just split the tail. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
