I'm not sure which form to choose for a red fox. I want a specific position and can't find a "perfect" fit. Here are the measurements of the fox in question 2 3/4" nose, 29 1/2" length, 14 1/2" girth. Form #1 - 3" nose, 28" length, 16" girth.
Form #2 - 2 3/4" nose, 25 1/2" length, 15" girth.
Form #3 - 3" nose, 27 1/2" length, 14" girth.
I know there will be some work to be done on form no matter which one I choose, but which one would you choose and why.
Thank you for the help.
Brent.

probably go with form #3. You shorten the nose and add length to the body, if needed. But it will probably fit pretty good without any altering. BP
I would pick which ever form had the pose that I wanted and alter it. Your hide is going to be stretched after skinning a little (at least mine do) and especially if it was tube/case skinned or dorsal as you know how difficult it is with those long legs. You can thin down the forms , shorten snout and shorten body fairly easily. Once you do it, the next time you won't even think about adding or subtracting a couple of inches from a form.
Thanks for the help. The fox is dorsal skinned. I've done a little altering in the past, but if I'm going to be stubborn about the pose, I'll have to do more.
