I got a pair of bull horns to put on a plaque for a guy. They are pretty big. I was wondering if someone had any ideas on how to get the horns off the cores? I know I have to boil them but have no idea where to find a container big enough. Thanks for any help, Kevin

wrap them in a trash bag as best you can and let them rot! If they are already dry then add a bout a cup of water first.
It is cold out, so should I wait till warmer weather?
YOU CUT THE SKULL PLATE IN HALF AND BOIL THEM IN A BIG WAS TUB. AFTER YOU GET THEM BOILED YOU HAVE TO TWIST THEM OFF. THEY JUST UNSCREW.
Not if they are texas longhorns they wont!
