Does anyone have a better form selection than McKenzie? I'm having trouble finding the form my customer would like to have.

What pose does he want and what size is the bear?

He wants one standing, but not completely vertical. It is 53" around and 73" nose to base of tail. I am putting a replacement head on it so eye to nose doesn't matter.

McKenzie does have the best selection. That is a tough one.The one they have closest to that is way too straight up for my taste.I just finished one close to that size and similar in pose to what you are talking about(71"x55").I used a McKenzie front high 72" form and altered it.It was a fair amount of work, changed all 4 legs, turned the head, reduced the length and girth a little.I checked all my other catalogs and just can't find a 72" bear like that. When I took on my bear project,I was sure I could find an upright 72" form, make some slight alterations and I'd have what my customer wanted.I was surprised there weren't more forms that size. You might consider starting with the RM171 and altering. The size is close.I've used that form a lot and it seems to always fit well. That's not the one I used but the measurements sound close.I don't have any photos of the alteration but do have one of the bear mounted.Don't know if that would do anything for you-I could send it if so.Sorry I couldn't be of more help.I think for this project some alterations will be needed.
