I was just at the critics corner and saw this brought up twice, once on a fox and once on a coyote. I hit the search button but it came back empty. Can I get a quick explanation as to where that is?
Thanks. Todd

It is found in the scuto auricularis externus muscle.
That pocket or double layer of ear edge on the outside of predators ears. I add epoxy to the liner to form this pocket.
I just had to do that to Todd. Sorry, I wuz outta control. I figured Todd would Google the words. Apparently taxidermists are the only group of people other than DVMs that worry about such things.
Google it?....I can't say it. I'm glad Bill chimed in right after you. I was sitting here reading your post, saying to myself, "what the h*ll is he talking about?" LOL It was a "from the frying pan into the fire" type deal. Now I'm going to have to buy another book... Bill... Thank you for making it easy on me.
