Taking yellow out of skunk

I have a skunk that I want to use for a life size mount. I have it wet tanned. The white stripes on the skunk are yellow from staining. Is there anything I can do to make the yellow white again?

I have a skunk that I want to mount with the same problem. Matuska sells a fur bleach that you can brush on the hair that should whiten it up. I am going to buy some and try it. I would think that you would have to apply it carefully and not get any on the black hair or it might turn that white.

Acetone....

Washing the fur with Acetone works. I don't know that it is the best way, I found out by accident. It doesn't bleach the black like peroxide and it removes oil and stains from the white stripes in just a few minutes, then evaporated from the fur. I'm sure there is a better way, but that's how I do it.
