Open mouth Bobcat

Doing my 1st open mouth bobcat, done several closed mouth.
I have a question, I cut out the mouth on the mannikin
and the jaw set don't fit in there. Do I need to cut the bottom
jaw off and alter? Thanks for any help.

Last ont I did I had to cut quite a bit off the back of the lower jaw to get a good fit
came out fine though

cut the bottom jaw off the form and then cut out the inside back of the mouth until you can fit the jaw set.
