Abert squirrels...habitat

I have a couple of Abert squirrels to mount. The guy wants to have a habitat of oak leaves and a few acorns. I know that some of the area he hunts does indeed have alot of oaks and pines.

I do believe that the Abert and Kaibab live mostly on pine nuts, buds, even bark....so....if I was to compete with this piece...would the judge feel it wasn't as good...based on a opinion that it should be centered around pine habitat vs. oak?

Thanks for any and all input.

...and I've always killed them in or next to pine trees, but you know what they say "the customer is always right" You can try and change your customers mind.
