How cold is too cold to work in?

I'm getting ready to mount a crappie tonight and the best place to work on it is in my garage. Temp right now is about 57 and the low tonight is supposed to be in the mid 40's. Does the temperature (not extremes) matter a whole lot when putting a skin on a form? I can hang it in the house to dry after I get in on the form and fins carded.

...As long as you're fingers don't freeze that is! So I guess I should say "your fish will be fine". Definitely bring it into the house once you're done...

Sorry...posted in the wrong category. I've posted several times in the mammal category and wasn't thinking when I made this post.
