bot a couple of tanned skunks that had been air diried b4 tanning - greasy layer of fat was never removed - flesher grabs more than it cuts - whats the eaiest way to remove this greasy mess

might be the awnser. Doesn't a skunk have a pretty tough skin? Its been a while since I mounted one. I'd give it a try if it were mine.
wet them out, go over with a wire wheel( duck flesher), soak in degreaser with salt added to prevent acid swell, rinse
I assume these are mountable skunks?
