was wondering if anyone could help. i have some dermsetid beetles and have used them to clean several small mammal skulls. seems that everyone i do has a blue hue that i cannot get out of the skull. what do i do? i have bleached over and over again. cant get them white. any help would be great.

1. How are you degreasing?
2. What areas are the dark spots? sinus areas hold beetles sometimes that are hard to see but show up thru the bone.
More than likely it is grease still in the bone. Some areas show yellow and some show blackish/blue.
