Lynx freezer burn Help!

Hi

I need someone help i have a lynx that was skinned and placed in a the freezer for 3 years. I took it out for 2 days and and the face is rock hard. Woundering if anyone have any tips if i can save this pelt if i place in water will i get slippage.

Stop Rot

I had one like that and I kept it soaked in stop rot and injected ears, eye lids, and the lips. It worked really well. Jeff

so you soak teh whole thing is stop rot ? and how long do i leave it in for? where can i buy stop rot?

inject water

if you use a very small hypodermic needle like used for diabetics and inject water with a little lysol every half inch or so and it should be fine. it will soften in a few minutes if it is thawed.inject only skin deep or just under the skin. ron
