i am doing a coon and squirell very soon and was wondering what would be the best sewing material i order some thread off Van Dykes, i have did a few birds is the sewing easier,harder on a mammmal

I use 14lb for most things. It's small enough for squirrels and strong enough for larger work. Deer on up you want to use heavier.

Then type in "Fireline". This is, hands down, the best sewing thread there is. Spiderwire will work, but it's too limp for my liking.

I use dental floss

I've used floss for 6 years now, it has alot of stretch but doesn't break or rot...good stuff & cheap
