I have purchased the peroxide and the basic white from Van Dykes. How do I mix the two together ratio wise? and how long do the skulls need to soak in the peroxide and basic white. Also after they are whitened do you set them out in the sun to dry or inside? Thanks for any help. Jack

Here's what they say,pour 1/2 the bleach agent(white powder) into a bowl and slowly mixin the hydrogen peroxide(liquid) into the powder.Add only enough liquid to make a paste that has the consistancy of mayonnaise.Paint this mixture on the entire skull.Don't paint this on the teeth if you want them in their stained appearance.This will take 18-24 hours.With a clean dry brush dust off the dried mixture.Optional; a very light dusting of white lacquer base spray paint may be applied;spray the skull with a clear lacquer based matte finish to seal the entire skull.
the mix in a squirt bottle, then squirt where I want it and spread with a brush. Be sure to wear glasses when you use the strong H2O2. If you don't wear rubber gloves you will soon figure out why you should.
