Sewing question...

I'm wondering what some do to keep the hair away from the stich while sewing? I've been misting the hair and it's been working "ok", however, I'm sure there's another way that one of you have thought of. I'm sewing a lynx and it's such a pain going up the back of the feet, where the hair is really thick.

Use painter's masking tape

It's the blue stuff that is low tack. Just hold a piece taut and drag it across an open incision until the hair "sticks". Pull it far enough away to keep your incision clear and just press it down.
