Worms between skin & muscle tissue found on mink?

I was working on a mink last night that I had froze for about a week. When I started fleshing him out I had noticed a worm like parasite that was between the skin and muscle tissue. They were coiled up just above the muscle tissue. About 6 - 10 inches in lenght. White and about the size of a sewing needle. I suppose there were about 20 or so. Does anybody have any idea what they are. Feel free to send me an email with some info.

Thanks Brandon

I found one of those worms in a mink I skinned last summer. I don't have any idea what kind of parasite it is exactly. The mink tanned and mounted up fine though.

Probably round worm

More than likely round worm. Don't eat them for a snack and you will be fine! Raccoons are notorious for them.
