I got a call today for a hedgehog and am not sure where to start. What eyes do I use and do I need to tan it or just a real good degreaser then borax? Also am I better off carving a form and what should I charge?

They aren't bad to do. Use a ventral cut (obviously), and skin ouit like anything else. I fleshed it well and used DP on it. I wrapped the body and used the real skull in the mount. I'd say to charge whatever you charge for a squirrel or mink or maybe a little more. I believe I used small black bird eyes on a wire for mine that time, but I am not really sure. They aren't difficult to put together, underneath that fluffy spike ball its just a hairless shrew looking body, there isnt much to them...
