Call the man back...

He did not spray in the right place if they are still there. Look yourself and see if you can find how they are coming in. They are traveling from the ground up into the trailer. Look around skirting, water and drain pipes, ac/heating ducts, and anything that goes from the trailer down to the ground. If you find where they are coming in, then the guy can spray there and hopefully get rid of them. Subteranean termites must have a source of moisture. If you get it dry under the trailer, 90% of the battle is won. If there is water standing and no air movement, they will be hard to get rid of. If the man will not come back, buy an inexpensive gallon pump-up sprayer, call your county extension office and find out what type of insecticide to use, and spray them yourself. You can buy it at Wal-Mart or a farm supply store.

I live in NC and am a Pesticide Inspector. Here the structural pest control companies (treating for termite prevention and erradication) have to be licensed by the state. I have all ideas this guy wasn't/isn't licensed or if he is & "doing it on the side" is doing you a great disservice as for $200 the company treats with a yearly conract and they actually go underneath and LOOK for termites. They treat under the house(mobile home) and around it to setup a barrier so they can't get in. They can identify an active colony versus one that has moved on.
And Joey M is right. You can actually look for your self and treat for yourself without a license. This time of year is when the adult termites are on the move. They "grow" wings and fly out of cracks and crevices whereever they see light. When they are in the "feeding stage" they are white and soft bodied and must have moisture. You will see that if they tunnel up into something like going across or up a cinder block they make a dirt or gritty "tube" so they arenot exposed to light or dryness. Joey M is again very right when he says if you can get ride of moisture they don't thrive well. So if your mobile home is underpinned with a metal or plastic(vinyl) cover...open it up so air, wind and even sunshine can get under there. You don't have to open it all the way around. I suggest opening a fornt and back or side and side so the air can circulate. You may even see these guys out flying in the yard and if you follow where they are coming from you might end up seeing hundreds and hundreds of them on the grass if tey have finished a piece of wood under the ground. If they are coming into your house through an opening in the wall it doesn't necessarily mean they are in your wall. It may be that they just see enough light that they think it is outside. where the fall after wings come off is usulaly a new colony. If there are live onesinside just use a spray for flying insects or use a bomb. They make a terrible mess to clean up in just the number of bodies you will find everywhere.
Get under neath and look for the grainy "tubes" where they come form the ground up into the house. break it open. You can find all kinds of pesticides (insecticides) to treat them with.. Unfortuneately the best ones have been taken offthe market. Termador is one but there are several. Do the Extension office thing. They have a lot of information. I don't think the tickingnoise you heard where the termites.. they don't make noise, but there are several predator insects that like ot eat termites so that may have been what you heard. By the way, I don't work with termites or structural inspections.. I do WPS and EPA referral, but I have had termites so... Good Luck. FS

What was the good old insecticide that was once used for termites? Not Lindane? I remember treating my own house site with Dursban. I think it is out now. Even diazinon is going off the market, isn't it. Gosh, I hope this lady can get her termites stopped. Maybe chlordane is what I am thinking about. That was supposed to be some good stuff.

Yes, it's chlordane. Lasted for EVER. I collected some yesterday when we had a Disposal Day for old pesticides. I kind of liked Chlopyrifos.
