fly egg removal

I am mounting a mink that has a mass of fly eggs on the flank and the face. Other than the eggs, the skin is in good shape. I have tried a tooth brush, a small wire brush, soap and water, and now the skin is in a Formic acid pickle. The fly eggs still stick to the fur. How do you remove them?

used one of those fine toothed flea combs,it worked ok.
