I've been shaving on a aoudad for the past four days, off and on. I wish to heck I had sent this thing off to be tanned. I've read about different products used to get rid of the "goat" smell. What do I need to use? At the rate I'm moving, It'll be in the pickle til Labor Day!

the tanned skin in Kemal 4 & Knoblachs deodorizer wash for 30 min. prior to mounting rinse well spin out moisture. After it drys the goat smell should be gone. While it is still it will still have some odor, like a wet dog. Insert the word damp after the first "still" in the previous sentence.

Thanks...

I will order those 2 products tomorrow. The customer paid me in full for this project, and I thought I would give preparing the skin a try...in an effort to get it back to him sooner. A lifesize skin on an animal this big is a booger-bear for me to handle on the fleshing table. The next one will be tanned by the pros.

hair sheen is what you want
