I'm sure some pet stores have some kind of product that would be able to help you out. As far as cat forms, I wouldn't even waste money on a cat. The only thing I would waste is the cat itself and either a 12 gauge 3 1/2" or a 10 gauge shell on it. Hang it up in a tree by its back legs, then practice your shooting skills by getting it to swing back and forth.
Oh no, the animal activists are gonna get me. If you don't want to waste a shell, a Louisville Slugger works good! Good luck on your bear mount. HAHHAHAA I had a guy bring his turkey back into the shop and his wife's cat got it. He said, "The cat just come up missing for some reason".
I had a coyote mount brought in that a house cat had urinated on. The smell was really strong. I went to Wal-Mart and found a product called Odor-cide... It took the smell right out. You might give that a try, it worked for me.

Go to the Taxidermy Industry category. The posting is: Help! My Mount Has a Strong Smell! Something like that.Jim Marsico speaks of a product that removes odors. Not sure if it works on urine, but sounds good.Large pet stores should have something and look for a product also that you can apply to discourage it from happening in the future.
urine-gone.. walmart sells it for 19.97... or you can order off tv.. supposed to work.. heard from other people that it does
You need a good urinary acidifier and neutralizer. A pet shop or veterinary clinic will have this product. This product will do as it states, neutralize the bacteria that cause the odor and prevent the acidity of the urine to damage (or burn) the area urinated on. Once treated you will need to get a product called "Boundry", sold at pet stores. Once an animal has marked an area it will return to remark it, the boundry will stop the cat from returning to this spot. I am no bunny hugger by any means, but I do have an intolerance to ignorance! The first Jeff's comment was just that, ignorant. Humans have domesticated animals for their own pleasure, yet when the animal reverts to doing something it would do in the wild , instinctivly, humans respond like a barbarian to rectify the problem. I feel sorry if that man has children who misbehave! Any behavior can be altered if you have the patience to research and take steps to rectify.
Best of Luck ,Bill. This type of problem has been successfully solved by many who have been in your position and man, beast and mount all live happily ever after.
Kindest regards,
Mary
Thanks everyone
I really appreciate the responses back this is such a nice mount I was really stressing over it but now I have some options will get some of these products and start working on it.Will also update how it works out.Just love this site. Sincerely,Bill
You take some baking soda, neutralizes the urine, and peroxide, Oxidizer, and some dawn dish soap, oil removal, and mix it together,
I would put about two table spoons of baking soda to one cup peroxide and a little squeeze of dawn. It works on skunk smell as well.
Let it sit on the stain for 10 min or more and then wipe off and let dry.
As for the cat, behaivor modification is not that hard. I once had a cat that got one of my birds after mounting. While it was playing with it, I took hold of it, picked up the bird, rubbed it in it's face, not hard, but firm, and then held the cat tight and from moving for ten minutes. It did no harm to the cat, but it has never got around any of my mounts or birds or anything like it since.
Cats remember negative reinforcement longer than dogs I think.
Anyway, I do not condone the miss treatment of a cat by the methods spoke of before.
You just give animal rights activists ammo to use on us. You also paint a portrait of taxidermists and hunters and it is one I do not care to be associated with.
This is a great site, We all have the freedom of speach and should be able to say what we want, Thanks to Ken for letting it be that way. But you should refrain from animal cruelty. If the local police around where you live catch wind of this posting, you may have some explaining to do if cats are or have been found in the shape you have discribbed.
Where was it you say you live Jeff?
