ive been trying soaking them in rit dye, but the skin shrinks down way to much. i have a customer who wants a red one,blue one and a yellow and green one. please help as i want to take on the challenge.thanks

...when Bob Elzner dyed a big cat skin black to mount as the extinct Sinai cat, he used human hair dye from a beauty supply. He did not soak the whole body in it,he only put it on the hair. I know he tested a small area first,as he was concerned about how long to leave it on, as not to burn the hair, since the hairs texture was so different from humans. I have seen every color of hair dye imaginable at the beauty supply when I've purchased products for bleaching skulls. By the way, Bob's mount was georgeous and won many awards.
