Freeze it wet, shoot the dog. Simple as that.

Please don't sink down to the mentality of some of the people on this site. Next time , make sure your work is put in an area where the dog cannot reach it. You cannot blame or punish the dog for your error. The suggestion of killing a dog over the owners mistake is certainly fuel for the anti's,(not to mention the most primal and ignorant solution) and the anti's are always looking for something on this site. You are young and impressionable, please don't be led astray by some of the bozo's on this site.
Next, I would advise calling Van Dyke's customer service for your most accurate answer.
In closing, just laugh at those that constantly try to correct one thing or another about someone's post,on this site. They usually have somthing they are trying to compensate for and need to feel superior however they can!
For future refernce if your dog ingest something poison or potentially posionous you can administer "orally" a few oz, of over the counter hydrogen peroxide. This will work as syrupe of epecac would for humans by causing the dog to vomit (evacuating stomch contense). Do not use this treatment if he/she swollows a solid object as it could become lodged on the way out. Solid objects warrent evaluation by your local vet. Keep up your taxidermy work and don"t get discuraged.
Did the dog eat the hide, or the form? You said you put the skin back in the freezer while you wait on another body...
I don't see the problem if he chewed up the form, I've seen dogs eat much worse and never even flinch.
If you're preserving the form.. uhm. I think that is backwards...
Now if the dog at the preserved skin with chemical on it, then yeah, you could have a problem, but from your post, I am getting that the canine at the foam form...
I'm just confused... and curious now.
Good luck to ya,
Jon
the dog shredded the form after a good 2 hours of work and right after i put instant preserve on the hide i walked away to get something to drink came back and there the furry satan was under the car shredding the form ive still got the hide though

Check the second one (the hyphenated one) in your heading (preservatative) above.
